In nuclear medicine, as in all areas of imaging, the boundaries between the responsibilities of different professional groups are becoming blurred. The strength of this team of authors is that it includes representatives of all the specialties likely to be involved in providing a nuclear cardiology service, and interest can be expected from radiographers and imaging technicians, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians, clinical scientists and cardiologists.
